1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using plan.It (the "Service"), operated by plan.It("we", "us", "our"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us at hello@planit.me if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. Plans, trials, and billing
plan.It offers a Free plan and paid plans (Pro and Family). New accounts include a 14-day free trial of Pro features; we do not charge a card during the trial. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle and renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your Billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then.
4. Family seats
The Family plan allows the account owner to invite up to five (5) people. Each invited seat receives its own account with premium entitlements while the owner's Family plan is active. The owner is responsible for who they invite and may revoke a seat at any time, which ends that seat's premium access.
5. Refunds
Charges are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy or as required by law.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the tasks, lists, notes, and other content you put into the Service ("Your Content"). You grant plan.It a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and display Your Content solely as needed to provide the Service to you. You can export or delete Your Content at any time from inside the app.
7. AI Assistant
Some features (for example, brain-dump and the assistant) send your prompts and selected content to a third-party AI provider to generate suggestions. Output may be inaccurate; do not rely on it for legal, medical, financial, or other professional decisions. We do not train foundation models on Your Content.
8. Acceptable use
You agree to follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate it.
9. Intellectual property
The Service — including its software, design, and branding — is owned by plan.It and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right in our marks or software beyond the right to use the Service as offered.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate the Service, or your access to it, if you breach these Terms, if continued provision is impractical, or as required by law. On termination, the license you grant us continues only as needed to remove Your Content from production systems within the timeframes described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, plan.It will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US$50.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify plan.It from claims arising out of Your Content or your misuse of the Service, except to the extent caused by our breach of these Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the United States, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice (for example, an in-app banner or email). Continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
